When impacting the surface of the object that needs to be cleaned, these waves generate compression in the positive semi-wave, then decompression in the following negative semi-wave. Vacuum bubbles (cavitations) originate during the decompression phase; in the subsequent compression phase, they are immediately filled up (collapse), developing a pressure of about 1.000 bar.
Any external substance placed on the object’s surface is therefore crashed and removed.
